For decades Washington has exclusively worked for the wealthy and well-connected, leaving working families behind. Our grassroots campaign is built on a small-dollar model to ensure I am accountable only to you. We will work towards a future where all people in New Jersey have the economic security every human deserves. Together, we will fight for a government that serves the people, not just the rich and powerful.

The Affordable Deal

Campaign Finance Reform

The influence of Super PACs and corporate lobbyists has corrupted our democratic politics. I am committed to fundamental campaign finance reform to restore power to voters. My specific legislative agenda includes:

  • Pass the Abolish Super PACs Act  to end the era of unlimited, dark money in our elections.

  • The public financing of federal elections to empower everyday voters and allow candidates to run without relying on corporate cash.

  • End corporate person-hood by revoking the legal doctrines that grant corporations unfettered political speech rights, curbing their ability to drown out the voices of working people.

  • Create a national lobbyist &  influence database to serve as a publicly accessible mandatory registry for all lobbyists, consultants, and political influence groups to ensure accountability.

Universal World-Class Education

We must fight the efforts to price people out of an education and keep Americans ignorant. I will protect and strengthen our educational institutions as vital centers of our community and democracy.

  • Tuition-Free Public College & Trade School.

  • Hiring more public school teachers by guaranteeing adequate pay and secure benefits.

  • Secure dedicated long-term funding for after-school and extracurricular programs.

  • Reform curriculum to shift focus from standardized test preparation to critical learning. Mandate expanded curricula in social sciences, civics, economics, personal finance, media literacy, secondary languages, and practical skills.

  • Expand continuing education by creating more options for adults to finish their academic pursuit.

  • Defend students' rights to free expression and access to information. Fight to prevent homophobic and anti-trans book bans.

Economic Bill of Rights

Following President Franklin D. Roosevelt's vision, I believe economic security is the foundation of true freedom. To guard against authoritarianism and guarantee dignity for all, I will advocate for a constitutional amendment to establish a second economic focused Bill of Rights guaranteeing:

  • The right to work a useful job.

  • The right to adequate food, clothing, and recreation.

  • The right of every farmer to a fair income.

  • The right to freedom from unfair competition and monopolies.

  • The right to decent, safe, and affordable housing.

  • The right to adequate medical care.

  • The right to social security in old age.

  • The right to a good education.

Medicare-For-All

Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. The for-profit healthcare system has failed, putting corporate profits ahead of patient care. I support a universal, single-payer healthcare system to guarantee care for every American. My plan to achieve this includes:

  • Transitioning to a Medicare for All system that covers everyone with no networks, no premiums, and no deductibles.

  • Nationalizing the health insurance industry to bring private companies into a public non-profit model.

  • Re-appropriating the privatized industry’s revenue and ill-gotten profits to fund our country’s healthcare system.

  • Holding private healthcare executives accountable by criminally prosecuting those who have engaged in profit-maximizing practices that knowingly harmed patients or defrauded the public.

  • Increasing access and transparency of health information with extensive modernization of government websites.

Taxing The Rich

Our tax code is rigged to benefit the wealthiest while working families pay more than their fair share. It’s time we rewrite the rules to fund the national priorities that will rebuild America. Only a progressive tax agenda will ensure the ultra-wealthy and large corporations pay their fair share.

  • Income Tax Reform:
65% on income over $1 million

    50% on income over $600k

    40% on income over $250k

    35% on income over $200k

    32% on income over $157.5k

    24% on income over $82.5k

    22% on income over $38.7k

    12% on income over $9,525

    10% on income over $0

  • Pass the Tax Excessive CEO Pay Act.

  • Ban Stock Buybacks for large companies.

  • Corporate Tax Reform:
40% on businesses with over 500 employees or over $10 million in taxable income
35% on businesses with over 100 employees or over $100k in taxable income
25% on businesses with over 50 employees or over $50k in taxable income
20% minimum corporate tax 7% healthcare tax to fund employee coverage

  • Wealth Tax: 1% on net worth over $16 million, rising to 8% on wealth exceeding $5 billion.

  • Estate Tax (For The 99.5% Act): 45% on estates over $3.5 million, rising to 65% on estates over $1 billion.

  • Pass the Corporate Tax Dodging Prevention Act to stop offshore tax avoidance. Diplomatically establish a coalition of nations to collaboratively crack down on international tax evaders.

Empowering Unions

For decades, the government has promoted corporate power and rigged the system against working people. The erosion of union power is a direct cause of stagnant wages, unsafe workplaces, and the decline in standard of living. It is time for Congress to unambiguously side with workers over corporate executives.

  • Pass the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

  • Empower the National Labor Relations Board to meaningfully penalize corporations that illegally fire or retaliate against organizing workers, including criminal liability for executive management and swift injunctions to reinstate workers.

  • Close loopholes that allow corporations to engage in union busting tactics such as captive meetings, collective bargaining “free riding”, and company management interference in union elections.

  • Bar force-arbitration clauses from employment contracts prohibit corporations from stripping employees of their right to a day in court and prevent legal organizing to challenge systemic wage theft, discrimination, or harassment.

  • Classify gig-economy workers as full employees to guarantee their right to unionize, secure minimum-wage/overtime protections, and ensure access to unemployment/workers’ compensation. Companies like Uber, Lyft, and Amazon cannot be allowed to enrich themselves off a servant economy by inventing a second-class status for workers.

Housing-For-All

The dream of a secure home is moving out of reach for too many families. With housing costs and the number of homeless individuals both skyrocketing, we need a historic investment in housing as a fundamental human right.

  • Build 12 million new affordable housing units

  • Bar large corporations and hedge funds like Blackrock from purchasing single-family homes while reclaiming existing corporate-owned housing stock for the public market.

  • Invest $500 billion to refurbish and improve our existing public housing infrastructure.

  • Stabilize rent by placing an immediate emergency rental freeze until the crisis is resolved, followed by a permanent cap on annual rental increases at 3%.

  • Provide $35 million for homeless shelters and $75 million to local communities to revitalize abandoned properties.

  • Create an $8 billion fund to assist first-time home-buyers.

  • Create a National Fair Housing Agency to prevent housing discrimination and guarantee legal representation for any individual facing eviction.

Beating Back Fascism

Our country faces a fundamental question about the kind of nation we are. Will we sacrifice all our utopian ideals and unified strength on the altar of corporate profits? No, the American people have always resisted such tyranny. We are the nation that ushered in the modern revival of democratic governance and we will not fall to Trump’s authoritarian takeover. Below lays out a concrete actionable path forward to restore government accountability and prevent the future rise of a more competent fascist regime.

Upholding the Rule of Law

To stop our democratic black-siding, we must bring immediate legal and finance consequences against the corrupt politicians most responsible for breaking our governing institutions.

  • Hold the Trump administration accountable for its corruption by supporting aggressive criminal and congressional investigations into their conduct; including conflict of interests violations, accepting of bribes, and conducting fraudulent scams.

  • Repropriate the Trump family’s ill-gotten wealth and property to use on government programs that actually benefit the people.

  • Abolish ICE and criminally prosecute agents as terrorists.

Ending Sexual Violence & Exploitation

The Jeffery Epstein case shows that unfettered wealth can enable elites to engage in the most vile criminal actions while avoiding accountability. The manufactured backlash against the MeToo movement shows their is must work to be done to hold the powerful accountable for their sexual abuse. We must reform our criminal justice system to prioritize victims over powerful abusers.

  • Pursue criminal prosecutions against all those implicated in the Epstein files.

  • Mandate comprehensive support by requiring and funding law enforcement institutions to provide extensive social service resources to victims of sexual assault.

  • Expand prosecutorial capacity by hiring specialized attorneys to aggressively pursue cases against abusers and dismantle criminal rings that profit from digitally sharing exploitation including non-consensual pornography and child sexual abuse material.

  • Encourage sexual abuse prevention by expanding sex education to young adults. Have material emphasize consent, provide knowledge to recognize grooming, teach people to avoid predatory digital spaces, and provide reporting resources.

Restoring American Health

  • Constitutionally protect abortion access by codifying the right to choose into federal law, legalizing abortion nationwide, and providing economic relief to those harmed by restrictive state bans.

  • Ensure Food Safety by banning chemicals currently allowed in U.S. food products but prohibited in Europe and imposing a federal tax on food companies that use excessive added sugars in their products.

  • Criminally prosecute RFK Jr. and his team for deliberately spreading dangerous public health misinformation, undermining science, and endangering lives.

Humane Immigration Reform

From the day he announced his candidacy for president in 2016, Trump has relied on nativism and bigotry against immigrants to cover for his corrupt corporate agenda. To prevent future aspiring dictators from using the same playbook, America needs to finally undergo comprehensive immigration reform that prioritizes the free movement of people over corporate dictated population control.

  • Abolish ICE and replace it with an agency focused on case management and integration, not detention and deportation.

  • Accelerate and streamline legal immigration by significantly hiring more immigration judges, attorneys, and social workers to eliminate the backlog, streamline the path to citizenship, and ensure fair efficient proceedings.

  • Establish a federal minimum wage of $15 per hour for all workers regardless of residency status to close the exploitative two-tier wage system between citizens and migrants.

  • Launch a repatriation & justice initiative to review and offer return opportunities to individuals unjustly deported, with particular focus on those sent to dangerous circumstances including the notorious prison in El Salvador.

  • Address root causes of migration by reorienting U.S. foreign policy to prioritize diplomacy, prevent military conflict, economic development, and environmental sustainability abroad. We need to counter the disabling foreign policy that leads waves of migrants to seek better opportunities away from their homes.

  • Increase funding for public news organizations so they can accurately and intelligently report on the issues of the day, countering the private corporate media that relies on sensationalism and social division to gain profits.

Standing  With The Transgender Community

Trans rights are human rights and we will fight against discriminatory attacks against this minority population.

  • Legally enshrine inclusion by passing federal laws guaranteeing transgender people’s right to access facilities, organizations, and activities—including sports—consistent with their gender identity.

  • Protect LGBTQ+ resources by strengthening anti-discrimination laws to prevent the malicious conflation of educational materials and community support with pornographic obscenity.

  • Expand access to care by increasing federal funding for gender-affirming healthcare and mental health resources.

Community Safety & Justice

Safety should not be a partisan issue, yet corporations and billionaires have viewed law enforcement as a tool to maintain their dominance. They are willing to let communities descend into violence because it is more profitable than addressing the root cause of poverty that underlies rising crime. This disregard has allowed tyrants like Trump to increasingly militarize law enforcement, using fear to justify the creation of a new gestapo personally loyal to him. We must restore justice by making the government prioritize community safety over business interest.

  • Nationalize Prisons: End profiteering by banning private prison corporations and implementing a federally managed rehabilitative model focused on restoration and reducing recidivism.

  • Fund and empower public defenders by increasing their pay, benefits, and resources to guarantee every American receives quality legal representation.

  • Reform policing by hiring specialized response teams of social workers and mental health professionals to handle non-violent crises, allowing police to focus on violent crime. Baltimore’s Safe Streets program serves as a model on how communities can reduce violent crime while requiring less beat cops.

  • Ensure accountability and transparency by creating a State Enforcement Accountability Agency (SEAA) to investigate historical injustices and provide reparative resources. We will also establish a national public database of police misconduct and prevent officers fired for misconduct in one jurisdiction from being hired in another. Lastly, provide federal funding for anti-discrimination programs within law enforcement institutions.

  • Rationalize drug policy by legalizing cannabis nationally, removing psilocybin and LSD from Schedule I status to conduct greater research, and expunging records for past minor drug convictions while providing economic relief to those unjustly incarcerated.

  • Invest into building more drug rehabilitation clinics, homeless shelters, and community centers.

A 21st-Century Platform

For too long American politics has been a false choice between two parties offering different cultural slogans, but ultimately serving the same corporate agenda. This path has hollowed out our government's ability to solve problems and left too many families behind. I reject this broken status quo. In New Jersey, we share a common vision for a community and government that puts the people’s interests ahead of corporate profits and endless militarism. America has the capability to live up to its democratic ideals of freedom and equality while overcoming the great challenges of this century. It’s time we had a government in Washington that facilitates that transformation, one that empowers our communities and builds a future of shared prosperity for all.

Holding Big Tech Accountable

Technology should serve humanity, not just the few handful of large corporations and their private owners. We will ensure technological innovation happens ethically and towards the betterment of all people.

  • Criminally prosecute tech executives for nearly three decades of unregulated growth where these private businesses are prioritized profits by actively promoting social ills such as addiction and misinformation.

  • Launch a congressional investigation into the design of social media algorithms to establish regulations that prioritize community, public safety, and mental health over isolation, bigotry, and depression. Mandate transparent reporting on social effects of algorithms and digital services.

  • Vigorously enforce anti-trust laws to break up monopolistic tech companies that eliminate competition and control our lives.

  • Create a national public-sector alternative for digital services and cloud infrastructure, providing a government-driven option for Americans and small businesses.

  • Place strict regulations to ensure the development of new AI technology meet ethical and environmental standards, preparing for the future while protecting people and our planet.

  • Reform "Terms of Service" agreements by restricting what data consumers can consent to give and ban forced arbitration clauses for consumer disputes to retain your right to a day in court.

The Green New Deal

From the rising tides to the warmer temperatures throughout the Jersey Shore, the climate crisis is not a distant threat. The next 25 years will determine the health of our planet for centuries to come. We can either continue with the failed policies of the past or we can lead a green energy revolution that creates millions of jobs, protects our environment, and builds a just prosperous future for our community. To achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and secure a sustainable world for our children, we are fighting for a concrete actionable plan built on the pillars of The Green New Deal.

  • Establish an Environmental Works Progress Administration (EWPA) that will put millions of Americans to work building the sustainable infrastructure of the future. This program will guarantee a union job with a family-sustaining wage and benefits to every American willing to build a cleaner future upgrading our coastal defenses, installing solar farms, and beyond. Additionally, provide full economic relief and retraining for fossil fuel workers, ensuring a just transition that leaves no one behind as we integrate these workers into the EWPA.

  • Provide funding to communities enabling locals to democratically decide how to best implement green energy; whether it’s cleaning our shorelines, expanding public transit, or modernizing our local power grid for resilience. Establish federal grant funding and a Green Corps of expert engineers, planners, and scientists to provide direct no-cost transition assistance to every municipality.

  • Impose a 75% corporate tax rate on extractive industries such as oil and gas.
-Strengthen the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with enhanced regulatory power and enforcement resources to aggressively prosecute corporations for environmental degradation.

  • Criminally prosecute fossil fuel executives who knowingly and deliberately prioritize profits over planetary health, holding them personally accountable for their crimes.

  • Promote international democratic governance initiatives that bind nations to the net-zero by 2050 standard. Collaborate with our allies to establish an International Green Transition Fund, using reappropriated profits from fossil fuel and extractive industries to help developing nations build sustainably.

Taming Predatory Gambling

The wild west of online gambling and manipulative tech practices must end. We must protect consumers, safeguard families, and restore fairness.

  • Enforce Strict Spending Limits: cap user spending on betting apps at $200 per week, pushing high-stakes gambling back into regulated environments within brick and mortar casinos.

  • Ban the most addictive and predatory games, such as slots, from digital casinos.

  • Require robust age verification for all gambling apps.

  • Mandate digital casinos contain a clearly accessible direct link to the gambling addiction helpline and national self-exclusion list.

  • Prevent digital casinos from banning players for winning.

  • Mandate a "Mature" (M) rating and a clear gambling-specific content warning on any video game that allows for real-world currency to be exchanged and used for in-game gambling mechanics.

  • Close the "Sweepstakes" Loophole thus shutting down the legal gray area that allows unregulated international casinos pushed by internet streamers to target American children.

  • Drastically reduce gambling ads by heavily restricting the volume and placement of advertisements to stop the constant bombardment.

Ensuring a Fair Shot for Every Job Seeker

The hiring process must be transparent and humane. No one’s future should be dictated by a biased and unreliable algorithm. That’s why we should fight to ensure protections for employment applicants.

  • Requires human oversight by mandating that companies of a certain size employ a minimum number of human staff to oversee the hiring process.

  • Guarantee a right to appeal by allowing any applicant to challenge an AI-driven hiring decision and request a manual review for bias or error.

  • End "Ghost Jobs" postings by requiring companies to notify applicants of their status and inform them when they are no longer being considered for a position. Fine companies for keeping fraudulent or expired job postings active.

Peace and Global Democracy

For too long, our foreign policy has been driven by endless conflict to enrich the military industrial complex. Imperial conquest has brought our country nothing but social fragmentation and economic immiseration. It's time for the United States to reclaim its historical mission as a radical experiment in democracy. We will fight to ensure our government collaborates as one equal nation in a global community to promote peace and democracy.

  • End forever wars,  audit the pentagon, significantly reduce the over-bloated military budget.

  • Establish a modern Church Committee to investigate our intelligence agencies and enact necessary reforms to protect civil liberties and enhance oversight.

  • Strengthen global democracy by advocating for the democratization of the United Nations to make it a more effective body for global governance. Furthermore, have the U.S. finally join the International Criminal Court and other key human rights institutions.

  • Work with our NATO allies to integrate our military commands and resources into a single unified defensive joint-force to provide for the collective security of the alliance bloc.

  • Stand with Ukraine: Pressure Russia to accept a ceasefire where they pull out of all Ukrainian territory. Extend NATO membership to Ukraine granting them Article 5 protections. Also advocate for fast-track Ukrainian membership into the European Union.

  • Oppose Genocide by block all military and financial aid to the Israeli government due to its colonial, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing policies against Palestinian people. Ban AIPAC and other similar groups influence groups that operate as conduits for foreign influence.

  • End the war profiteering by nationalizing the critical functions of the military-industrial complex. The business of war should not be controlled by for-profit enterprises.

  • Ban the use of private military contractors (mercenaries). The defense of our nation is a public duty, not a barbaric entrepreneur opportunity.

Information-For-All

For decades, a handful of billionaire-controlled media and tech conglomerates have manipulated our information ecosystem to distract, divide, and dis-empower the public while engaging in unprecedented corporate consolidation. True democracy requires an informed citizenry with access to diverse trustworthy information and the tools to communicate freely. Congress must engage in an aggressive anti-trust breakup of media companies thus allowing good-faith discussion, debate, and disagreement to return to our public commons

  • Dismantle corporate media monopolies by directing the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission to pursue aggressive anti-trust breakups of major entertainment, media, and telecommunications conglomerates. The goal is to separate content creation from distribution, restore local competition, and lower prices for content services.

  • Reinstate the Fairness Doctrine for broadcast services and expand its core principle to digital news platforms. Legally required news organizations of a certain reach to dedicate good-faith coverage to both sides of substantive controversial issues of public importance.

  • Mandate transparency for partisan outlets by requiring any political pundit or news organization above a certain audience reach that engages in partisan commentary to prominently disclose their major financial backers and any affiliation with a political party, Super PAC, or ideological apparatus. Organizations falsely presenting themselves as objective news instead of partisan propaganda outlets will face substantial fines.

  • Defend digital free speech by fining corporations and platforms that algorithmically suppress or remove user discussions of documented state oppression or sexual violence when presented as news, personal testimony, or history; ensuring these critical issues remain part of the public dialogue.

  • Work with media platforms to determine an appropriate democratically-elected standard of hate speech protections to discourage bad-faith actors, ironic trolls, and bullies from engaging in bigotry/discrimination under the disguise of public debate or comedy.

  • Reform intellectual property laws to significantly shorten copyright terms for corporate works, expand fair use protections, and weaken abusive trademark/patent laws that stifle creativity to ensure that innovation can be freely shared and built upon.

  • Empower public media by re-instating the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) with expanded funding, enabling PBS and NPR to provide free no-ad local news, educational content, and entertainment to every American.

  • Launch a public digital commons by instructing a newly empowered CPB to develop and maintain open-source publicly-owned digital alternatives including; a secure operating system, a search engine, a video-sharing platform, a file-sharing service, creative editing software, etc. These will be non-commercial, privacy-focused, and freely accessible to all people.

  • Create a national culture archive, a centralized federally-funded digital archive, hosted at the Library of Congress to preserve and provide free public access to all public-domain media including films, books, music, newspapers, radio broadcasts, sporting events, and television shows.

  • Establish an open-source education hub by creating a grant-funded federal platform where educators can collaboratively share lesson plans, curricula, and teaching materials that meet or exceed federal educational standards thus reducing costs for schools and empowering teachers.

Practical Organizing

People have lost face in democracy because politicians promise radical change during campaigns but continue the same broken status quo once elected to office. Though coalition building and implementing structural change does take time, there are some basic district organizing measures congressional representatives could easily implement to bring on-the-ground change yet choose not to. As your elected representative, I will prioritize these initials so that you can actually participate in the benefits of the American government.

  • Develop the best constituent services operation within the country. For too long the federal government has shirked its legal duty to provide specific legally mandated services to all people. This is not due to the carelessness of government employees, but a decade in the making goal of corporate backed elected officials to eliminate government assistance to working people. The government needs to serve people instead of cooperation. By building a clear and easily accessible website, mobile phone app, and help-line call center; we can ensure all constituents have the knowledge and access to the government services they are entitled to.

  • Mutual Aid District Database: After winning the election, turn our campaign infrastructure into a more permanent mutual aid organizing hub. Use constituent services as a center to connect people with local food banks, property repair volunteers, environmental management assistance, medical care services, and transportation within the district. Enable greater coordination and cooperation between these mutual aid services to identify and fill gaps in assistance. Encourage campaign volunteers to continue their service by becoming community organizers in these mutual aid organizations. Bring federal funding to these local community organizations.

  • Maintain a digital direct line of communication between myself and constituents to inform them of the political situation. Use social media and video streaming services hold weekly fireside chats discussing my office’s operations and constituent concerns. This will allow constituents like yourself to directly engage with your congressional representative instead of relying on the filter reality of the biased corporate media.
